Rep. Peter King Out of Line.

“Rep. Peter King, a New York Republican who called Jackson a "pervert, child molester, pedophile" in a video he posted on YouTube this week, vowed Tuesday to do "whatever I have to do" to oppose honoring Jackson.” (By SUZANNE GAMBOA, Associated Press Writer Suzanne Gamboa, Associated Press Writer – Wed Jul 8, 3:20 am ET)

As stated in Article 6 of the Constitution of the United States of America…

“The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.”

Clearly, Representative Peter King violated his oath of office by denouncing the 5th Amendment of the United States of America when he publicly stated that Michael Jackson was guilty of crimes in which he was NOT found guilty of by a Judge and Jury.

The 5th Amendment of the US Constitution states:

“No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.”

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it is apparent we have a problem when those chosen to represent us go against the very thing “we the people” have elected them to uphold.
